Marilyn Lewis is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Georgia. She graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk University in Boston, MA with a BSBA and a concentration in accounting. She is also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor®. She is trained to respond to businesses who need help in choosing the right Quickbooks application, setting it up and implementing the software.
She has over twenty three years of public accounting experience. Her experience with a Big Four CPA firm and a regional CPA firm provided her with the experience of working with a multi-industry client base. It also presented her with a comprehensive background and thorough knowledge and understanding of all financial processes. Marilyn applies her experience to resolving small business tax, accounting and other business issues with the goal of increasing client’s revenue and profitability.
As an experienced Finance Director, CFO, Financial Accounting Manager, and consultant, Marilyn employs an energized, can-do management approach using financial management skills, vision and persistence. She also combines motivation, leadership, creative and analytical abilities to implement innovate ideas that produce bottom-line results. In addition, she has strong leadership, problem solving, and management skills.
Marilyn also has a Master of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology. She enjoys missionary work and has traveled to South Africa on different occasions and spent some time living and being inspired by the people of that land. Marilyn is married to Winston and has two girls, Larissa and Janelle.
